HypeD helps users discover listings and contact sellers. Use care when evaluating a listing, communicating with a seller or buyer, and following an external link.
Protect your account and information
- Never share your password, authentication code, recovery code, or verification code.
- Do not share unnecessary private information, payment credentials, or another person's personal information.
- Avoid posting private residential addresses. Use a public meeting place for an in-person transaction when appropriate.
- Treat unexpected requests for sensitive information as suspicious.
Evaluate sellers and listings
- Review the seller's public profile, listing details, media, price, availability, fulfillment terms, and refund terms.
- Be cautious when a seller pressures you to act immediately or use an unexpected payment method.
- Verify seller details and the destination domain before leaving HypeD.
- Preserve records of the listing, transaction, and relevant communications.
External destinations
Payments, delivery, refunds, disputes, and fulfillment on an external site are handled by the seller and that service. Review the external seller's terms, refund policy, and privacy practices before proceeding.
In-person transactions
Use caution with in-person transactions. Consider meeting in a safe public place, tell someone you trust where you are going, inspect an item before completing the exchange when practical, and do not proceed if the situation feels unsafe.
Reports and blocking
Report fraud, scams, prohibited goods, impersonation, counterfeit goods, misleading listings, unsafe websites, illegal content, or exposed private information through HypeD's reporting tools or by contacting support@demo-hype.com.
Blocking prevents new message requests and accepted messaging while the block remains active. Contact emergency services directly if someone faces an immediate threat.
